SOME FRESH THINKING FROM PREGIS
Pregis Rigid Packaging, formerly Pactiv, have stepped up their presence in the Food Service Packaging sector with the launch of Freshthinking, their new food packaging catalogue.
The catalogue includes two new and exciting salad concepts, the Tamperguard? and the Wave.
The Wave bowl is a must for the highest standard of food presentation and is available in five sizes from 250ml to 1000ml. Its design means that the bowls fit together on the shelf, saving valuable space, yet it is stylish enough to be transferred straight to the table, showcasing food superbly.
In response to the growing demand for packaging that impacts less on the environment, the Wave can be manufactured in recycled PET, which is made using post consumer waste. With a current emphasis on more sustainable methods of waste treatment for packaging, Pregis are now using rPET in an increasing number of product lines. When end users dispose of this packaging it can be captured, sorted and recyclable materials are put back into the recycling loop.
For peace of mind the Tamperguard?, available in 250ml, 375ml, 500ml, 750ml and 1000ml sizes, features a very clever ring pull opening so consumers will know if the contents have been tampered with. As with the Wave design, the Tamperguard? is available with a snack fork that fits subtly into the lid.
Pregis? range of bakery packaging is now one of the biggest in the industry with the addition of five new products including cookie tubs, a danish pastry pack, and a twin cheesecake pack.
The catalogue now includes an extensive microwaveable and dual ovenable packaging range as well as bagel and tortilla packaging.
